The Bike Oven is Rad

The bike oven is having a bike repair session on Tuesday Nov. 3 from 7-10 pm so swing by, bring your broken bike or a topic of discussion because they love to talk about bikes. Check out their website, they are a great neighborhood resource:

The bike oven is also coordinating a North East Los Angeles (NELA) bike plan meeting this Wednesday at 5 pm (meet at the bike oven) if interested in getting involved in the plans the city has for bikers in the future.

Monthly Pasadena Rides

Hey cyclists. So every month there is a "light" ride (25 miles, not for the faint of heart) around the greater Pasadena area. It usually takes around 4 hours and ends with a picnic lunch at the Rosebowl where they have a guided discussion. Sadly the most recent one was this morning (the talk was about vintage bikes) but the ride happens the first Sunday of every month. They say you can do the ride on a fixie (basically no hills).
